The 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated with great gaiety at Milestone Heritage School. The girl students displayed the picture of the Father of the Nation in a very beautiful manner in Rangoli and won the praise of the attendees. The program started with garlanding the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and lighting the lamp. Manager/Principal Surendra Patel threw light on Gandhi's life in detail. Giving many quotes from the life of the father of the nation, he inspired the students to adopt truth, non-violence and satyagraha.
Teachers and teachers also presented their views on this occasion.
Amit Sharma of class 8, Muskan Tripathi, Shreya Suman of class 7th, Shalu Patel etc. presented speeches based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi. After this, the most wonderful phase of the program started when the children sang Ramdhun Raghupati Raghav Rajaram, Patit Pawan Sitaram, along with the Manager/Principal Surendra Patel. Surendra Patel sang bhajans while playing the organ and teacher Sushil Bharti accompanies the dholak. For a while the whole atmosphere became Gandhian and everyone was immersed in the hymns.
Sushil Bharti, Upendra Patel, JP Rawat, Amarjeet Yadav, Anisha Patel, etc. contributed towards making the program a success.
